Happy Thanksgiving!

It's a beautiful day here in Paradise. I am thankful for so many things, including:

1. For a God who loves imperfect me and who promises never to leave me nor forsake me;
2. For a Savior who was willing to go to the cross for me, that my sins would be forgiven;
   
3. For the gift of three beautiful children:  two here to love and one waiting for me in Heaven;
4. For my husband's continued employment, even with reduced hours and pay, when so many others have lost theirs;
5. For family and friends near and far;
6. For continued good health;
7. For my 12 year old Labrador Retrievers, Jake and Luke.  It's so hard to see them age.  Each day is a blessing;
8. That I get to live here, in Paradise, my own Slice of Heaven;

Speaking of My Slice of Heaven, we went to the beach today.  Yes, here in Paradise, we get to go to the beach pretty much year round.   Here are some photos from today.  Enjoy!

One of these days, I hope we can move back to to this little city on the beach.  It's where we feel most at home, but until then, I'm so thankful that we live close enough to visit whenever we want!
